Abstract

One of the components of the cumulus oophorous complex, which envelops the oocyte, is hyaluronan, which is recognized as for sperm quality and maturity. For male factors those undergoing ICSI or in vitro fertilization (IVF), those experiencing repeated miscarriages due to male factor, and those experiencing early pregnancy loss due to male factor, Using a biomarker for hyaluronan binding, the best quality spermatozoa in the testicular biopsy (TESE) can be determined.
The outcome of the present study is shows that the HA (PICSI) selection system is efficient, based on the present and previous data, we may infer that sperm selected by the HA technique before ICSI offer better predictive value to form competent embryos, .The HA binding system for sperm selection can be used within the laboratory routine and can mimic a “physiologic” choice of the male gamete at low costs, increasing pregnancy rates and reducing possible genetic complications. reducing clinic abortion rates by 50%.
The main results of this study is increase the number of blastocysts retrieved every cycle, number of Grade A embryos, the cleavage rate, the quality of the embryos, the implantation rate, and ideally the pregnancy rate. It is possible to deduce that sperm chosen by the HA method prior to ICSI have a higher likelihood of developing into viable embryos. Because using of HA (PICSI) media techniques help to increase motility, especially progressive motility, and reduce sperm with abnormal morphological defects, their use in ICSI resulted in increased rates of fertilization, and pregnancy rates.
